Assignment 3 - Refined Narrative
The final video will portray the idea of visualization of the imaginative architecture through abstraction. A series of transformations will be visualized in reality. There will be views for exploring the environment in an interactive way with the viewer perception. Ideas come from our minds, and then, they are visualized by different tools. At last, it will be created in the reality. The final video will illustrate the inter-relationship between minds, digital world and reality. Let's think beyond our logic and see beyond our eyes. The imaginative architectural machine is submerged between reality and imagination. ( The floating machine is a metaphor for the "architectural machine" (from the first reading "the architectural machine")
The imaginative architectural machine is coming from our minds, and protruding through our eyes. It transformed towards the digital simulated world, and altered in this diversified scope. It collided inside the scope and dashed out to the reality. It floated through the windows and searched for its destination. It drifted across the street and the sky. When it moved along the street, everything is real in front of our eyes. Buildings are static and the street is calm. The floating architectural machine is our imagination, visualizes our ideas and brings vision to us. It kept revolutionizing between the reality and the imaginative world.
For the presentation approach, at first, the imaginative machine will appear in a blur and unclear form in order to create a mysterious sense. When the video goes further, the object will become clearer. And this builds up the climax for the video.
However, no matter how the machine transforms, how our imagination goes beyond. Our logic is always framing our thinking to a reasonable extent. The logic will hinder our creativity. It is like a box which lay down four plains to restrict our imaginations. Finally, the floating machine will float and explode out of a box, and visualize the idea of “thinking outside the box" and breaking the archaic thinking.
